We stand behind our products and guarantee your satisfaction with every order. DoorShoppers.com promises to deliver high-quality products, in excellent condition, to your door. If, for any reason, your shipment is not satisfactory, we will gladly replace it or accept a return of the merchandise.

Please adhere to the following terms and conditions:

  1. We can process returns and refunds only for items purchased through doorshoppers.com.
  2. All returned merchandise must be in resalable condition.
  3. The product must be free from scratches and/or defects.
  4. The product must not have been installed.
  5. You must have the original packaging for the item.
  6. There cannot be any writing on the packaging for the item.
  7. Returns can only be made within 30 days of receiving your product(s).
  8. All returns must be over $50 in total value. Any return for less than this total amount may not be permitted.
  9. Merchandise must have not been damaged in freight transit.
  10. Commercial and/or institutional orders with more than 10 units of an item are not eligible for the 30 day return policy without judicious reason!

We are not responsible for any labour costs which occur as a result of the installation of wrong or defective parts. In addition, we are not responsible for lost shipments; you must file a lost shipment freight claim with the respective shipper.  

Damaged items due to improper packaging or mishandling will not be refunded. Packages with obvious damage will be refused.

Returned items are subject to a restocking fee based on the original purchase price, unless defective. Restocking fees range from 15%-30% , depending on the manufacturer.

IMPORTANT: ALL MADE TO ORDER ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE!                                                                                    Please contact us before your purchase if you are uncertain about the return policy pertaining to a particular DoorShoppers.com product.


Cancellation of a shipment

You can cancel (an) order(s) if shipment has not yet taken place; to do so, please call us. Once shipped, an order cannot be cancelled - you will have to process a general return.


Inspect your order immediately upon delivery!

Any damages or shortages must be reported to DoorShoppers.com within 24 hours from receipt of your order.

For items damaged during shipping, please file a claim with the shipping company. If a product is defective, the manufacturer’s warranty will apply.


How do I proceed with a return?

We will do our best to help you through this process but it is important to follow the guidelines listed below. Understanding and following these will help to speed up this process, so that we may resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

  1. Contact us to process your return and receive an RGA (Returned Goods Authorization) number. Once you have set up your return, by phone or e-mail, you will be e-mailed an RGA number within 3 business days. Along with this return number, you will receive a ship-to address where you must send your merchandise to. Be sure to include your RGA number with your merchandise. This number will be used to ensure that you receive your credit.
  2. Include all original packing materials, manuals, and accessories with the product, to avoid any additional fees. We recommend that  items be returned via insured parcel post for proof of delivery. Please be certain that items are secure in their packaging to avoid possibility of damage while in transit.

Please note:
You are responsible for all freight charges. However, you will be credited all reasonable and customary freight charges relevant to that item if the product is defective or the wrong item was shipped. Returns without a RGA number clearly visible on the package will be refused. Items returned directly to the manufacturer without our authorization will not be refunded. Items received past the return period, plus reasonable shipping time, may not be processed. Returned items must be shipped in the original product packaging.



We will do our best to process your return quickly. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. Refunds will be credited by cheque. Shipping charges are not refundable, unless the product that you’re returning is defective or damaged. Taxes and duties on shipments are fully refundable.
